XaRFA co-organizes the Technical Conference on Technology 4.0 for Cement Manufacturing

The XaRFA, coordinated by CIM UPC, and the Castellar de n’Hug Cement Museum co-organize the “Technical Conference on Technology 4.0 for the Manufacture of Cement” Body. The event will be held next November 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Cement Museum in Castellar de n’Hug.

The event offers an exceptional opportunity to explore the latest innovations and strategies in the cement manufacturing sector, with a specific focus on technology 4.0.

 

The agenda includes presentations by prominent experts:

  • Three possible paths to the application of additive manufacturing, with Ignacio López (Lagula Arquitectes).
  • Towards sustainable construction with 3D printing, with Arnau Cumelles (Aridditve).
  • When and how does innovation reach the market, with Ferran Bermejo (Institute of Construction Technology (ITeC).
  • Digital transformation strategies in companies in the construction sector, with Gerard Faneca (Escofet).

The day will feature a round table moderated by Roger Uceda, director of transfer and valorization of CIM UPC and will end with a guided visit to the factory and the Museum of Cement.
